The Ball 2 Life Developmental League is an 8-week program designed to help young athletes build fundamental basketball skills in a fun, supportive, and structured environment. The season starts with skill assessments, followed by developmental games that focus on learning without pressure. In the final weeks, playoff-style matchups introduce healthy competition and sportsmanship, helping players grow, gain confidence, and love the game.

Schedule & Format

  • 5:30 – 5:15 PM – Warm-up & pre-game prep

  • 5:15 PM - 6:05 PM – Game 1A & 1B (Two 8-minute halves)

  • 6:10 PM - 6:30 PM – Game 2A & 2B (Two 8-minute halves)

Weekly Breakdown

  • Week 1: Skill drills & player assessments. Players will be placed into a division (A or B) and assigned a team (1, 2, or 3).

  • Weeks 2-5: Developmental games focusing on basketball fundamentals and game rules—no scorekeeping.

  • Weeks 6-8: Playoffs introduce healthy competition while reinforcing skill development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
